Searching for Al Baik at Jeddah airport before a flight is almost a ritual. For many travellers, the last meal in Saudi Arabia has to be Albaik broast and garlic sauce. This guide shows which Saudi airports have Al Baik, where the counters are and what to order when you are short on time.

Quick answer: Al Baik is at Jeddah (KAIA), Riyadh (KKIA Terminal 3 arrivals, 24 hours), Dammam (King Fahd International Airport) and, according to travel guides, Madinah airport. Outside Saudi Arabia, there is also one at Bahrain International Airport.

Al Baik at Jeddah Airport (KAIA)

Al Baik is a Jeddah brand, so it is no surprise that King Abdulaziz International Airport is where most people look for it. Al Baik announced its first counter in the airport’s North Terminal in February 2016. In April 2016 it opened at the main entrance of the South Terminal, serving both departing and arriving passengers, open 24 hours a day.

Since then, most flights have moved to the new Terminal 1. Public listings show an Al Baik in Terminal 1, but airport outlets move and change hours more often than city branches. The safest way to find the current counter is to search “Albaik” in Google Maps once you are inside the airport.

Tips for Jeddah airport

  • Allow extra time. Queues build up around peak departure waves, especially in Umrah and Hajj season. Do not leave your meal until boarding is called.
  • Expect a shorter menu. Airport counters can carry fewer items than a full city branch. Broast meals and sandwiches are the safest bets.
  • Arriving hungry? If the airport counter is busy, there are many Albaik branches across Jeddah a short drive from the airport.
  • Umrah travellers: if you are heading on to Makkah, see our Albaik Makkah and near-Haram branches guide.

Al Baik at Riyadh Airport (KKIA)

Riyadh Airports opened Al Baik at King Khalid International Airport in early 2020, in the arrivals area of International Terminal 1. In November 2023 a second counter opened in the arrivals area of International Terminal 3.

Today, the airport’s own website lists Al Baik in Terminal 3, arrivals floor, open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you fly domestic from Terminal 5, plan ahead: the airport confirmed in 2022 that Terminal 5 has no Al Baik. You can find city branches on our Albaik Riyadh menu and branches page.

Al Baik at Madinah Airport

Travel guides to Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport list Al Baik among the terminal’s fast-food outlets. The airport does not publish the exact counter location, and hours follow the flight schedule, so ask at the information desk or check the airport app.

If you are staying near the Prophet’s Mosque, it is often easier to eat in the city first. See Al Baik near Masjid an-Nabawi and the Albaik Madinah menu.

Al Baik at Dammam Airport (KFIA)

When Al Baik opened its first three branches in Dammam in 2019, the main one was at King Fahd International Airport. It was the brand’s first step into the Eastern Province. Check Google Maps for current hours before you go.

Al Baik at Bahrain Airport

Al Baik’s first branches outside Saudi Arabia opened in Bahrain in December 2020, and one of them was at Bahrain International Airport. Prices there are in Bahraini dinar. See our Al Baik Bahrain locations and menu guide.
